Adventures beyond our Borders - Malawi, Mozambique & Zambia

While Active Escapes has been predominantly focussed on exploring South African destinations, we are happy to report that we have been branching out increasingly into our neighbouring countries. The landscape morphs exotically as we move across borders on our holidays into the rest of Southern Africa, and we're happy to be able to offer many exciting options.

Currently we offer an active holiday package in Malawi, which includes hiking and biking through the hills of the 'Warm Heart of Africa' and along the banks of the stunning Lake Malawi. Of course we offer kayaking expeditions on the lake itself, and paddling through the azure blue of the Lake will be a memory hard to forget.

Additionally, if you're keen on seeing more than one country we offer a great Malawi and Zambia combo trip! View Victoria Falls from the Livingstone side, (possibly even braving the famous 111m bungee jump), cruise the African bush to sight serious game and enjoy a tad of luxury accommodation with a few solid G&T's; we think this combo offer is particularly worth investigating.

We also offer canoe safaris in southern Mozambique, paddling the waters of the Rio Olifants River; and if you're after something super wild try our Canadian style canoe trip in Zambia on the source of the Zambezi River. It's a unique experience, and arranged only on special request.
